Frequently Asked Questions
Fees & Tuition
Tuition varies by course and is listed in our class schedule. Each class page includes a full breakdown so you can review the details before enrolling.
Refunds & Course Drops
We understand that plans can change. If you withdraw within the first 2 weeks of a year-round course, we’ll issue a full refund. After that, tuition is non-refundable—but we’re happy to help you explore other class options that may be a better fit.
Do math courses cover a full year of curriculum?
Yes. Our math courses are built as complete year-long programs, with 36 weeks of instruction at each level. For example, a 3rd grade student will receive a full 36-week curriculum designed to prepare them for the next grade with confidence.
Is there an age requirement for enrollment?
There’s no strict age limit. What matters most is readiness—both in terms of skill level and ability to focus for the length of class. Generally, our courses are best suited for advanced learners ages 7–12+, but placement is based on ability, not age.
How do I know which level is right for my child?
We recommend starting with a placement test to ensure your child is in the right class. It’s a simple way to find the best fit so your student feels both challenged and successful.
How many students are in each class?
Our small class sizes make learning personal and engaging. Classes typically have 3–12 students, depending on the level. Math 2 is capped at 10 students, while higher levels are limited to 12. This ensures every child gets the attention they need while still benefiting from group interaction.
Do courses include homework and exams?
Yes. Each year-round course has 1–3 hours of homework per week to reinforce learning. Depending on the course, students may also take one or more exams to track their progress. Homework is designed to be meaningful and manageable.
Will I receive progress reports?
Yes. Parents get bi-weekly emails with a link to their student’s progress report. These updates make it easy to stay informed about classwork, homework, and overall progress throughout the course.
What happens if my student misses a class?
If your child misses a class, they can catch up using the recording and handouts in Google Classroom. Recordings remain available for four weeks after the lesson. Students can also join class 10 minutes early next time to ask the instructor questions and review anything they missed.
What technology do we need?
Students need a stable internet connection, a computer or tablet with a camera and microphone, and access to Google Classroom. We’ll provide setup instructions before classes begin.
Do you offer sibling discounts?
Yes! Families enrolling multiple students may qualify for discounts. Reach out to our team for details about multi-student pricing.
